On this, our Packraft II trip to the Selwyn and Mackenzie Mountains we are going to explore some of the area around the middle Keele watershed. Starting on the historic Canol Rd near the confluence of the Twitya and Keele Rivers we will paddle exciting rivers, cross watersheds, and climb mountains. You’ll paddle/pakraft several tributaries of the famous Keele river.
The trip starts and ends in Norman Wells, NWT. You’ll be flown by charter bush plane into the trip on July 30. At the end you’ll be picked up by float plane, and flown out back to Norman Wells.

Day 0: Meet Norman Wells, NWT July 27.
July 28: Day 1: Charter Bush Plane Flight from Norman Wells into Trip.
July 29-Aug 5, Days 2-9: Pakrafting & Hiking. We will spend 9 days paddling and hiking between different watersheds of the Keele Valley, Twitya River etc. We’ll also hike explore sections of the famous Canol Rd near trout creek and the Twitya River.
Aug 7,: We will be met by charter bush plane and flown out to the community of Norman Wells on the Mackenzie River, where the trip ends
Cost: $4450 (with your own pakraft, rentals available.
