"Paddling Canada's Less Traveled Waterways for Over 50 Years"

David Plante, DVM

Dave, a veterinarian by profession, has been paddling many of Canada’s magnificent waterways for the past 25 years, including the Moisie River in Quebec, the Bonnet Plume river in the Yukon and the Kuujjua in the archipelago of the far north.  As a guide, he has helped organize and lead several exploratory river trips in the far north including the Rae River, the Quioch River, and the Lauchlan River.

Dave has a passion for preparing  fine cuisine and catching lots of fresh fish on canoe expeditions—bon appétit!
